They are expected to develop analytical and critical thinking skills through these projects. Lastly, to prepare students for this increasingly global economy as accelerated by the WTO, students' foreign language skills are reinforced through English/Japanese courses.
ùþ Department of Interior Design
The Department of Interior Design was formed in response to society's need for professionals who can provide quality living space and are able to repurpose existing buildings. Students who are interested in pursuing a career in interior design can enhance their knowledge, skills, and professionalism in this department. In addition to school teaching and career counseling, the department actively assists students to acquire hands on experience by collaborating with the professional community in a long-term fashion. After graduation, a student can pursue advanced study in interior design, spatial design or architectural design, seek employment in an interior designer's or architect's office as a designer, or work for a developer, consultant, builder or the government.
