Founded in 2003, the graduate school of architecture is located on the Taipei campus. The program's overall goal is to advance students' and researchers' professional knowledge in the field. The specific goals of this department are to provide urban renovation and residential environment planning, to promote green architecture, to be involved in historical heritage conservation and restoration, and to prevent environmental disaster. With the use of computer aided design and artificial intelligence, the program provides horizontal integration of different fields.

The Graduate Institute aims to cultivate capable students with advanced skills in civil engineering and hazard mitigation applied technology. It is our hope that we can con- tribute our teaching and specialties to help handle environmental hazards, structural hazards and geotechnical hazards.
